A good sleep positively impacts our children's day, their emotional regulation, and learning outcomes. This workshop covers:
- How Te Whāriki guides us to positively support sleep in childcare
- Optimising your sleep environment within Centre limitations
- Harnessing whānau input and valuing cultural contexts around sleep
- Working collaboratively to ensure sleep is an enjoyable part of the day
- Unpacking the science of child sleep

If you are wondering how your childcare visits and that first drop off will go, then you have come to the right place! This public session is designed to inform and support parents to learn a little more about starting childcare.
Experienced Lead ECE Teacher and Sleep Consultant, Lucia, will discuss how those first few days may go to help you and your child transition into care feeling safe and supported.
Lucia will answer any questions and share insights into common practices around sleep and care routines in childcare.
Once an event booking is completed, an invoice will be sent to your email.
All payments must be received before the event in order to confirm attendance.
If you cannot attend the event, a 50% refund will be given
if notice is received before 10 working days.
No refund within 10 working days of the event.
If Sleep Education cancels the event at any time, a full refund will be given.
